Transmission Rebuild Services
Barrington Motor Works offers professional rebuild of any vintage BMW motorcycle transmission. During the rebuild process the transmission is disassembled, cleaned and evaluated. Further, the output shaft bushings, shift forks, kick start segment and idler gear are all evaluated and replaced or repaired as needed. All bearings, seals and gaskets are replaced with new components. All shafts are measured and shimmed to factory clearance specifications. All transmissions are then bench tested for smooth shifting and function. Upgraded fasteners and components, as well as, media blasting is available upon request.
